Band Digital Takes Home Two IAC Awards
Agency wins awards for work with Harley-Davidson and Meijer
April 11, 2011 (Chicago, IL) – Band Digital, a Digital Connection Agency, has received two Interactive Advertising Competition awards. The awards were given for Harley-Davidson’s Women’s Roadmap to Riding and regional mega-grocer, Meijer’s holiday social marketing campaign.

Harley’s Women’s Roadmap to Riding is an interactive map that turns desire into an actionable six-step checklist. The milestones are a direct product of Band’s uncovered insights related to a woman’s unique barriers to riding. And the campaign is tied into Harley’s Women’s Community. The Roadmap was designed to arm users with the information and confidence that would prove riding is attainable for any woman.
Meijer’s win for Outstanding Social Marketing campaign was recognition for their 2010 holiday initiative. Band combined an in-store experience, viral video assets, a game and a season-long sweepstakes, which lived on Facebook. The campaign used “Mr. Gifter,” a colorful, present-delivering man-in-a-box. Mr. Gifter was featured in an introductory video highlighting the elements of the overall campaign: the Gifter game and a sweepstakes. Additional videos were filmed and released throughout the campaign, documenting Mr. Gifter’s mission to “leave no gift behind!” as he surprised real Meijer customers with free gifts to take home.
